If you currently have been wearing the same ring for more than 7 years, take it off, store it in a safe place only if it's sentimental to you, and go out and buy yourself a new one. If you have been wearing the same wedding ring for more than 7 years, take it off, bury it deep in a bowl of salt for 7 days, and put it back on.
