It's that time again for those in the know. Now in its eighth year, the International Talent Support (ITS) competition kicks off today with a call for entries. This worldwide design competition allows for winners in three categories: fashion, accessories and photography and is open to final year students or young designers and photographers. Over 787 schools in 60 countries compete for cash prizes and real life opportunities.
Finalists are flown to the seaside town of Trieste in northeast Italy July 10th and 11th, 2009 to present their work to an international panel of renowned fashion editors, buyers and fashion influencers. Diesel, the main partner of the fashion competition, guarantees concrete support to a young talent with a cash prize of €50,000 and an internship within the Diesel creative team, based in Italy.
