Religion 101

No religion should be forced on any child. Religion is something that is meant to be sought after -- when a person is truly ready. And before anybody chooses the title of his/her faith, the foundation of that "religion" should be based on UNIVERSAL LOVE, for LOVE is the ultimate religion, and the most important principle found in ALL RELIGIONS. The reason religion must be sought aft...er, is because the quest itself deals with seeking an abundance of knowledge. And when we force a child to take our chosen or inherited faith, most do not feel the need to seek further knowledge -- outside of what was already taught to them. Seeking knowledge is MANDATORY for every human being and is the TRUE PURPOSE for living. We are given an entire lifetime to collect and put together truths. Truths are acquired only when we learn to filter all information, including those valuable lessons and insights gained from our own personal experiences, through our conscience. And as we near death, the knowledge in our hearts at the end must match the knowledge which was put in our hearts in the very beginning. All else is irrelevant. -- Suzy Kassem

**The parent is protector and trainer, but never the ultimate teacher. Every parent is responsible for teaching their kid basic moral conduct, manners, the difference between love and hate, and knowing right from wrong. However, after maturity, the child must set off to seek knowledge on their his/her own. Religion is never to be forced. And you cannot threaten your child with hell and tell them your religion is the only right way. There is no ONE right way. The many ways to the Creator are as varied as the colors in a rainbow.
